Happy Christmas & best wishes for the new year. And what a year it has been for everyone at Pain Relief Ireland!

Pain Relief Ireland at the Mater Hospital, Cork

The most dynamic event was developing a partnership with the Mater Private Hospital to allow us provide more access and to allow Dr. Hegarty work full time to develop the newest techniques in the area of pain management. This reflects the enormous number of referrals we have received over the past 18 months where more individuals are constantly seeking our advice.

We have always considered that having a pain management structure in place as soon as possible increases the chance individuals have of preventing chronic pain destroying their quality of life.

A very big “Thank you” must go to all our clients who were so patient with us over the summer months when we were making the transition for Dr. Hegarty. We know that we are have reduced our waiting time to be seen meaning get that you can be seen and treated faster.

Cutting Edge Technology

We also introduced the newest technology into our services including the Cosman Radio frequency techniques including the RCE technique unique to Pain Relief Ireland and Palisade therapy for Refractory Sacroiliac Joint. With this equipment and Dr. Hegarty’s expertise Pain Relief Ireland can now specialize in cervical radio frequency denervation to increase the accuracy and efficiency for treating neck pain and headache.

We are the first pain unit to use wireless ultrasound technology to provide safe and effective therapy and use Dysport for muscle spasm.
