Expertise

Most of the treatments that are available through Pain Relief Ireland are not widely available through community-based or other pain physicians. We recommend that people experiencing chronic pain start with their primary care physician. When pain is not relieved with standard treatment, then Pain Relief Ireland should be the next step. Our Clinical Director, Dr. Dominic Hegarty, is uniquely qualified in all advanced interventional and non-interventional treatment options and an active board member of the World Institute of Pain.

Evaluation & Assessment

A pain management specialist will perform a thorough assessment and develop a plan for your care. This plan will be shared with your family physician as well as the healthcare team assembled to address your needs. On return visits, additional treatment will be provided and the physician and the healthcare team will evaluate your progress. Throughout the treatment process, the team will communicate your progress to your referring and family physicians. As you near the end of your treatment plan, the team at Pain Relief Ireland will spend additional time providing you with information about how to manage your condition into the future. Through expert care, Pain Relief Ireland strives to bring a better quality of life for you and your loved ones.
